關於Anytime的意思和用法的提問

You can come over anytime at all = You can come over whenever = Any time works for you to come over

A: Yes, ‘anytime’ is more friendlier/casual. ‘Any time’ can be used in more situations than ‘anytime’ can as well.

A: Sometime soon is purposefully vague, in the near future sounds more certain. We also like to use "sometime" and "anytime" for vague arrangements:

So in those types of situations adding "soon" just makes you sound more eager but isn't exactly asking for a promise.

"Call me in the near future" sounds much stronger and if the person says "ok" it feels like a promise, like you're asking them to add it to their schedule.

in "any time", "time" is taken as a resource, e.g.
"Do you have any time?"
