La main de fatma est symbole orientale (notamment arabe) de protection du mauvais oeil. On retrouve ce symbole chez les musulmans, les juifs (je pense) et les berberes pre-islam.
"Fatma" ou "Fatima" est le nom de la fille du Prophet Muhammad (Fatima Zahra).
