Q: I need you to go with Baron some place safe.
Why is "place safe" used instead of "safe place"?

A:

The sentence should read:
I need you to go with Baron someplace safe. (Like somewhere safe)

A ‘safe place’ is also a location.
So you can also say:
I need you to go with Baron TO a safe place.

I’m out of school just shy of 30 years so I forgot terminology. But the second sentence is ‘to a safe place’
