A: To “get credit” for something means that people acknowledge/praise you for doing it, and to “give credit” to someone means you acknowledge/praise them.
“I want to give him credit for the artwork.” = I want to praise him for the artwork, I want people to know that he made it.

If the conversation is about school, then “getting credits” means earning points for completing a class. When a student completes a class, they get 1 point for it. Students usually need to earn a certain number of “credits” (points) in order to graduate.

In high school, students usually get 1 credit for each class, and they must earn 2-4 credits in every subject. (Math, science, history, language, etc.)

In college, students usually get 2-5 credits for each class, and they must earn about 40-80 credits to complete their “major” (main subject), and maybe 10-30 credits in other subjects as well. Different “majors” and different subjects often require different numbers of points.

A: Let's say each class has a value of 4 credits. I need 300 credits to obtain my Bachelor's Degree. I have 297 credits. I am a few credits short of graduating.

I need a small number of credits in order to graduate.

A: I can't take all the credit means that you can't take full responsibility for something, usually a success.
For example, if you and your friend worked on a school project, and it was a success, the teacher might say to you:
"Well done!"
And in response, you might say: "My friend worked hard too, I can't take all the credit."

A: I think they are referring to college course credit hours earned. When they say 24 and up they mean a minimum of 24. Also "earned" means achieved or accomplished

1)  No deduction in pay is made for absence due to illness.

A: Titles would be like the name of something in the film (e.g. The name of a character or a role like "director") and the credits are the real people who played that role (e.g. Maisie Williams)

A: I think you could say:
"I am currently registered in 27 credits of our program courses but I have to enroll in 3 credits more. However, although I would like to register in the credits "ENGL 12" and "ENGL 13", I can't as it seems to be blocked.
Should I wait until they are unblocked?"

A: Very close! in the first sentence did you mean to say "team" or "term?" the second sentence is great! "Some of them were difficult but I managed to earn all the credits."

If you say – the credits – it seems to imply that you want to transfer ALL of the credits.

In the first version, it could be read as meaning – you only want to transfer some of the credits. It doesn’t necessarily mean that, but the meaning is open – you have not defined how many credits you will be transferring.

A: Typically, we would say "in" for that situation :)

Also, when describing something you saw in a movie, you should say "A movie," instead of "That movie," unless you were already speaking about a specific movie

A: Guitar is pluralized because guitarists can and do play a variety of guitars - acoustic, electric, synthesizer, dobro, six-string, eight-string, etc in concerts, on albums, even in a single song. They're just making a distinction.

Vocal is pluralized because "vocal" is not grammatically correct when referring to singing when using that particular word.

A: They mean the same thing just worded differently

A: at the beginning of a film some credits are shown. The credits at the end of rhe film are the closing credits. Credits are a list of who was in or involved in the making of the film.
