there are just a few things that I'd change:
When I got up, my stuffy nose was better. I think I/it (I -if you were ill or it -if it was just your nose that was like that) got better as I took medication.
today is my fourth day of writing a diary in English. I still find it hard to write in English, especially without the aid of a translator.
