余談ですが、「珍しい」というのは、普通は例えば

自然な日本語で「それを捨てちゃって」というくらいなら、英語で throw that away と言うので。

何のことか言わなくても相手に分かる時は日本語では丸ごと省略して、英語では it のような代名詞を使わないと違和感が生じます。（他動詞のときは）


このdeveloperの文では、「その上に」ではなく「土地を買って、上に工場を建てる」と言ったら、逆に日本語的に少し分かりづらいかもしれない、というか「その上に」と書いたほうが正解な気がします。そういう意味ではどっちかというと例外だという意識でいます。
