Environment can be:
- the terrain/nature surrounding your location, including animals and plants
- in general, everything that is around you, including buildings and other constructions
- the culture/society/people around you

Being environmentally conscious means you understand what’s going on with the environment and taking positive actions to change the earths circumstances. You are actively trying to improve the environment

A: Nature is the natural world. Everything around you is nature. Environment is used specifically to describe certain qualities of nature. Environment had the same meaning as habitat

A: You wouldn't normally say those sentences like that, but they mean the same thing. Here is how you would see them written in a sentence:

"He is protecting the environment."

or

"He works in the Environmental Protection Organization."

You can also combine the two:

"He works in the Environmental Protection Organization protecting the environment."

A: In general, in US companies, people are always addressed by their name alone, and only occasionally referred to by their title, so there isn't much use for terms like 先輩、後輩 in English.

Title is more important than seniority in US businesses too. Everyone with the same title is considered on the same level, and there's no distinction between more senior or more junior employees with the same title.

You'll see "superior" and "subordinate" in formal communication, like the rules set out by a Human Resources department or in employment contracts, but these are descriptions and not titles. You wouldn't refer to someone as, say, "Superior Jones" the way you'd use 「ジョーンズ先輩」 in Japanese.

You can actually omit like this as well:

“I found it hard to adapt to the new environment there.”

A: "Exposed" is not always negative; it depends on the context of the rest of the sentence. "If we are in such an environment" can work as a more neutral substitute.

A: Word "enviroment" is mostly used for nature surrounding something. So you could say : "There are many shops around school." or "It's convinient that there are many shops around the school."

A: I think it would make more sense "come at an environmental problem" make sure to use "an" instead of a, if the next word starts with a vowel, such as "a", "e", "I", "o", "u"
