A: Its not really natural in conversation or in formal writing, but it would be great in poetry or other creative writing.

A: Saying that a fragrance is "weak" is fine, but I'd personally choose a different word, maybe "light" or "not strong." As for "the ingredients are easy on our body," I would rephrase that and say, for example, "it doesn't damage your hands," or "it's not bad for your skin" or something along those lines.

A: I think what your trying to say is that you want to make the shoe box smell better. You could say "I made the fragrance of the shoe box better with aroma oils"

Or, "There was a familiar fragrance when I passed through the airport gate."
Take note of the proper tense. Use "was" not "were".
"Passed through" and "airport gate" just makes the sentence flow better and get straight to the point. But your sentence works too :)

I don't think "humid" is a scent. It pertains more to the weather. More exactly, it refers to moisture in the air. For example "The air inside the airport was very humid." or "The day was humid and she was very uncomfortable because of it."

Since you're already talking about a scent, you don't have to use "smelled". You can just say "It was a sweet scent."
If you choose to use "smell", you can say "It smelled sweet." :)
