關於Going的意思和用法的提問

A: It means to add on to something, usually an idea.

So if you’re in a meeting, and you say your idea and the other person says “Going off of that, we can do…..”

So they either had an idea because of your statement or they want to build it more.

A: Going forward is like “지금부터” or “앞으로”

A: referring to things/events that is happening in real time

A: When you say “I am going to the shop” it means you will go and do as you have said in that moment or within the future but when you say “I intend to go to the shop” it means you plan on going there at some point but you may change your mind and don’t go there in the end.

Cuando usas Going to es que a parte de ser un futuro probable, es uno seguro, sea lo sea, va a ser.
-It's going to rain. (Va a llover)
Aquí, te asomas a la ventana y ves cómo todo el cielo está nublado y va a empezar a llover en cualquier momento.

Something like this * I will sleep late tonight * And { going to } means that you want to go to a certain place or do something. Like * I'm going to Japan next month.* or * I'm going to do my homework later. * Like this.
