關於Homebase的意思和用法的提問

in baseball it is where the batter and catcher are.
used as slang it means a place where you and the rest of your group (usually friends or family) meet up.

I don't know much about the airline business but from a language standpoint I would say that an airplane would probably have one homebase but could touch down at any base. "Home" would imply that it lives there on a regular basis.
