關於Lax的意思和用法的提問

A: LAX is the airport code for Los Angeles International Airport. So that made me think the second abbreviation is also an airport code. Google tells me ATX is Atbasar Airport in Kazakhstan.

However.. ATX is also sometimes used as an abbreviation for the city of Austin, Texas. So maybe they're going from Los Angeles, CA to Austin, TX.

So, basically, it has no meaning. They just needed to add an extra letter in because so many airports were popping up around the world and they needed to separate them from each other.
