A: According to the dictionary, lit is a past tense particle of light. Example: I lit the candle before heading to bed.

However, it's also a slang word among young people nowadays. It's similar to saying something is "on point", or "live". For example: She was too lit last night at the party. Or Beyonce's new album is lit!

The first one is like something being lit up (To light up something). The second one is what you say when you think something is amazing. The third one is just like a surprise, happy face. 😄

A: yes. "Will" is sometimes used to imply intention to do something, but when describing something you do, you don't have to use it. In hypotheticals, however, using "will" or "would" is a good idea.

Both imply that the lights are physically broken, with glass on the ground, etc. and not that the lights are just dead, or burned out. Just to clarify, in case that's not what you wanted to say.

I put out the light refers to something like a candle.

You can use both depending on the situation but it's more correct to use it like I said

A: if it's a pronoun, then only turn it off; if it's a noun, turn off the light and turn the light off both are right and they are the same.

A: @sidney: If you are talking about the room, you would say dim, but if you were talking about the candle you would say faint. For instance:
"Woah, Your bedroom is very dim!"
"I know, Because all the light we have is this faint candlelight"

“recognition” means to be noticed for something.

“with light of recognition” would literally mean, “with light to be noticed” which doesn’t make sense.

“with recognition of light” would make sense, and that would mean that something was noticed but with the help of light.
