Q: let it steep in your passion.是什麼意思
A: steep means:
verb:
1) soak (food or tea) in water or other liquid so as to extract its flavor or to soften it.

I think your sentence is something Benedict Cumberbatch said, right? heehee

He is joking by saying that you can persuade the tea to let it's flavors come out by showing the tea how passionate you are towards the tea(like it's a person, haha). Once the tea sees how nice, friendly, and encouraging you are, it will feel relaxed. When it's relaxed, it will be more willing to give you it's delicious flavors.

A: passion can mean 2 things, 1, you really like something/doing it

the other can mean to have a strong feeling for someone(sexual)

"Passion"有關的其他問題

Q: "I have a passion about cars."
I thought this sentence is correct, but there is a native speaker who said that it is incorrect, since it's must used 'for' instead of 'about'. Can you please explain for me? When should I use 'for' and 'about' each other?

聼起來自然嗎?
A: well, passionate is an adjective so you should use "about" in that case. You have probably heard the phrases "I am sad about..." or "I am happy about...". So think about these examples. If you use "for" instead of "about" then the meaning will be different. Using "for" in that case would mean that you are happy or sad because of another person's situation, not yourself. For example, "I'm so happy for her because she is graduating."

As for "passion," it is a noun so you should use "for" in that case.

The more you study, you will see how certain prepositions are used with verbs or nouns. It will start becoming natural with more practice
Q: It is hard to keep having a passion while we're living. 聼起來自然嗎?
A: "It's hard to have a passion while we're living." also works well and might sound more natural. Good job :)
Q: I have passion to learn English. 聼起來自然嗎?
A: You can also say:

"I have a passion for English"

"I have a passion for learning the English language."

Or

"My passion is learning English"
Q: Tell me about your all passions. 聼起來自然嗎?
A: tell me all about your passions

tell me about all of your passions

it depends on what you are trying to say
Q: I lost the passion for spiked coke a couple months ago when I'd had too much and felt like vomiting all night. 聼起來自然嗎?
A: "I lost the passion" sounds a little strange. I would probably say "I lost my taste for spiked Coke" instead.
