A: The quote is - “make sure your servant’s towel is bigger than your ego,”
Just before he says that it shows a "servant" (worker) who's using a towel (cleaning it in the sink with water).

Basically I think he is saying to be humble, to not put yourself above others and not think to highly of yourself. Take care of your workers (other people) and treat them well.

A “housekeeper” is the likely the most politically correct in the USA, but things change everyday!

the word "pet" does mean an animal that you keep, but it can also mean stroking something, most likely an animal. Example: "The girl wanted to pet my dog."
"Pet" sounds more natural than "stroke".
