"Its mildly/slightly ammusing" - It's kind of funny. (in this sentence mildly and slightly are interchangeable)

a slight opening - a tiny hole
slightly - just a bit
"It's slightly too big" - "it's just a bit too big"
"It's slightly wierd" - it's just a bit weird

A: It all depends in the way you use the word. “Softy” is mainly used for describing someone who is emotional or tender. “Soft” is mostly used to describe the texture of something but it can be used to describe people as well in the same way as “softy” but softy can’t be used to describe texture.

You would not use tender in any of these examples.

"This steak is really tender"

In this example you use "tender" instead of soft. The opposite would be tough. It wouldn't make sense to say meat is soft. "tender" here basically means easy to chew.

Another example where "tender" is used: "my face still feels tender from when I was punched." Here is means it's still painful or sore.
