(you can, it sounds weird though) you could call an animal fat or another person fat, though that is offensive in many cultures.

side notes:

there is a similar word to thick, "thicc" which is used a lot in slang. to describe a, in most cases attractive, curvy person. thought I should mention so you don't get confused.

there is also an expression, "fat chance" which means low/no chance. I don't know why that is but it is.
