A: Thirsty is a word to describe when you want something to drink. Thirst is usually not used alone in a sentance.

A: Indiana Jones has a thirst for adventure.

Bill didn't drink any water this morning, so he is thirsty.

Mountain Dew is sure to quench any thirst.

Crave is meant for food in general.

Desire is just general. It means to want something.

"The desire to change the world. The drsire to be successful. The desire to have kids"

Eagerness means to have no problem doing something.

A: Thirst, crave and desire are all similar. Eager is a description of really wanting to do something. For example if you’re really excited to go watch a movie, you can say that you are ‘eager’.

Thirst can refer to literally being ‘thirsty’ - as in you need something to drink, but you can also ‘thirst’ for something you want. Thirsty is also a slang word often used when you are attracted to someone, you can say you are ‘thirsty’ for them.

Desire and crave are very similar. However, crave has a a bit more intensity than desire. I will provide some example sentences:

I desire to do well in school.
I desire to have a good job.
She is very desirable. (It’s the adjective form of desire).

I crave really good food.
I crave warmth.
Pregnant women often crave weird things.

A: They're usually interchangable, for example a common saying "A thirst for knowledge" works just as well when you use desire "A desire for knowledge".
Both are effectively 2 separate words that mean "a craving or longing"

crave is usually for food

Both of the above sentences are completely acceptable!

* Small point. We call this "parallelism" - making the different parts of a sentence match (TO verb 1 ... TO verb 2 ... TO verb 3 ...)

* I would remove "professional" here. "professional career" is a little redundant but, again, it's a small point.
** I think this sounds a little better. Some people get hung up on multiple "and"s in a sentence too, by the way.


"You can count on my bubbly personality, my hard work ethic and my attitude to always put all my efforts for the best of the company and the team!"

This is the only part that's not excellente. It's still very good and still sounds natural but could be improved a little (I am picky lol). I am having a hard time rewriting it because to me the ideas aren't all totally connected. Are you saying that you can be counted on to put all your efforts for the best of the company and the team BECAUSE of your bubbly personality, your hard work ethic and your attitude? Or are you saying that the person reading this can count on those 3 things: 1. your bubbly personality; 2. your hard work ethic; 3. your attitude to always put all your efforts for the best of the company and the team. Good parallelism with the "my"s though!
