"Vie"的近義詞和區別

Q: vie 和 compete 的差別在哪裡?
A: The words "vie" and "compete" mean the same thing for the most part. The difference is that with "vie" you have *direct* competition for an objective. Like runners who "vie" to get a gold medal in the Olympics. They are competing, but against one another.

With "compete" it is more general. You are not necessarily competing against someone directly. Like a business that is "competing" for market share. Yes they are competing against other businesses, but not directly. The word can even be used to talk about "competing with yourself" to strive to be better in life.

In any case, you can almost always just use the word "compete" instead of "vie" and it will be okay. But you can't always use "vie" instead of "compete".
Q: vie 和 compete 的差別在哪裡?
A: vie literally means compete but is a more eager version :))

A: "Through" means to go somewhere to get somewhere else. "I will go through the tunnel" "He walked through the wall" "Via" is で. "I will go via car (車で行く)" "I went to Japan via plane (飛行機で日本に行きました)"
