Hi there! I'm John, I live in Hawaii, and I'm a native Filipino (who's grasp is somewhat fading a bit, but it's still there, I promise!) who's second language is English. Funny enough, English is arguably my better language.

I'm trying to broaden my horizons and learn another language, so I chose Japanese! I want to visit Japan one day, and experience all the sights and sounds of another part of Asia.

I've been studying Japanese for around ~6 years, but I don't really like to count the years I studied in high school, as it wasn't that helpful, so let's just settle with 2 years.

I'm always open to criticism, so please tell me if I'm wrong, as I tend to push past what I know, and make things harder for myself. But y'know, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
