The difference between the words also and too is very small because they both mean almost the same thing. The main difference is that depending on which you use, you need to structure your sentence I bit differently.
“I eat apples but I eat oranges too”
“I eat apples but I also eat oranges”
As you can see, both of these sentences mean the exact same thing but they are expressed in different ways.
“I like you too”
“I also like you”
In a situation like this however, most English speakers would say the first option as the second option sounds a bit unnatural (a very small bit, but it is still grammatically correct).
The difference is very very small so as long as you know how to use both, I would say to not worry because if I’m being truthful, even I don’t know the answer 100%! 😅
