有關 英語 (美國) 的問題

One of the institutes in my university said they would provide the “proofreading service”. So I just wonder what kind of writing (or writings?) the service covers. Research proposals, emails, cover letters, or any other sorts of articles?

In this case, is it okay to ask
“For what kind of writing can I get the proofreading service?”

or

“For what kinds of writings can I get the proofreading service?”

or any other natural way to ask it?

Please teach me.

You dont have to put "for" — "What types of writings/written works does the proofreading service cover?" // " … [ in a general manner ] Does the proofreading service cover all types of written works?"

To politely ask, "I would like to know.. What types of writings/written works does the proofreading service cover? // Does the proofreading service cover all types of written works?"

You aren't only talking about one type of writing.

It's correct but since you are seeking for two or more informations, it should be "writings" @ptwshin
