@Jessgv113 A cableway is the same as cable-car, since a cable-car is any type of transportation that uses cables for transportation. Now some people call mainly Cable-Trams or any type of ground vehicle a cable-car(obviously because they roll on the ground). While some people call cableway the aerial transportation like vehicles(off ground). This is not a true distinction, is just what some people call them.
Aerial or ground cable-car would be a better way of distinguishing between the types of vehicles.

The other day i was listening people from Europe saying Cable car but it was a TRAM. I think it's the context like you said!

@Jessgv113 Yes! In different parts of America and in Europe you will hear many different terms for the same thing. Aluminium or is it aluminum? TOmato or tomaTO? Is it centre or center? Is it soda or pop? Across countries and different regions you will see different names, spellings and pronunciations for different things, even though in the end they are all talking about the same thing.
Is one of the few things that makes English so confusing.
