"price" is a noun. The price of an object is 'how much it costs'. "What is the price?" "These prices are high!" "The price of this item is good".
"charge" is used more like a verb. "How much will I be charged?" (meaning: "how much will you ask me to pay?") "How much did they charge you?" (meaning: "how much money did they say you have to pay?")
It's easier to use "price" when buying things. "charge" is not used as much as "price", and it's used in more specific situations than just in restaurants or stores.
- 英語 (美國)
Charge is the amount of money you owe someone. Price is how much it cost to buy something.
