He doesn't like other people saying that he is rich. 是什麼意思

does it mean that "He doesn't like other people who say that he is rich"? or it could be interpreted like this?

It means he doesn't want other people bringing up the topic that "he is rich"

@darklegolasx yeah I made that sentence thinking it means that but suddenly, I thought It could also mean "He doesn't like other people who say that he is rich". what do you think about it?

I don't think so, to me, the sentence is very clear that he doesn't like it when people talk about it, not the people themselves.

Could you explain your thinking so I can understand? Maybe I am missing something.
