@CamilaSierra19 There is no set time limit, unfortunately. "To be going to" has a strong notion of intent to act. So, you can use 'to be going to' of any action that you have a specific intent to act upon. For example, you could say, "tomorrow I am going to fly to France," or "I am going to go to the store in five minutes." The unifying meaning is the specific intention to act, as opposed to using "will" which is a generic future reference.
If there is no specific time frame given (like 'tomorrow' in the previous example), a good rule of thumb would be to use it for actions you intend to carry out in the next few minutes.
So, if someone says, "I will eat lunch," that gives no clear indication of when. If someone says, "I am going to eat lunch," you would expect them to either be in the process of leaving for lunch, or about to leave in the near future.

I'm assuming you mean the difference between "will" and the phrase "to be going to" when both are used to refer to a future event. Like in the following pair: I will eat; I am going to eat.
Both express future time. The expression "to be going to" usually requires the event to be very near in the future. If someone says, "I will eat," there is no sense that this means anytime soon. If someone says, "I am going to eat," you expect them to go very soon.
Hope that helps.
