Stomp and stamp mean the same thing, but I sometimes see stomp is more emotional or forceful. It is also a regional difference between UK and US spelling.
For example:
The child stamped her feet.
-> She's a bit cute.
The child stomped her feet.
-> She's being a bit spoiled or bratty.
But of course there is also the meaning of stamp as in stamping a paper or putting a stamp on a letter
The politician stamped his approval on the documents.
I stamped the letter before dropping it in the mailbox.
The child stamped her paper with a star shaped stamp.
