What does 'They also need a life' mean?

It's an expression: when you are too focused on something that isn't real, or that it is starting to be a little obsessive. It's telling somebody to stop that behaviour and go back to real life.

Ex:
The people who signed the petition for the remake of Game of Thrones need a life = Those people are starting to be so obsessed with something that isn't real, like a TV show that they are doing pointless things and need to stop for a moment and go back to real life.

@tarouh It means that these fans are complaining about something that the majority of people does not care about, see as pointless and a waste of time.
