Countries in high poverty bear the brunt of plastic pollution./ suffer the most from plastic pollution. How can the society help in solving this problem is always a headache. Earlier this year, a pilot project of an environment rehabilitation campaign was set out to clean up Philippines' Manila Bay beach. Locals can collect the trash and then trade it for croptcurrency provieded by some Banks. This pilot project did make a great success. Over 2 months, Locals, mostly fishermen, collected three tonnes of trash from Manila Bay beach. And 2 months later, another project was underway. Around 5,000 volunteers came to visit Manila and collected over 45 tonnes of garbage. Manila Bay beach is unrecognizably clean compared with 4 months ago. 聼起來自然嗎?

有點不自然
*Countries in high poverty bear the brunt of plastic pollution./ suffer the most from plastic pollution.
- both are correct
*How can the society help in solving this problem is always a headache.
-How can society help in solving this problem.
-It is always a headache for society to solve this problem.
*Earlier this year, a pilot project of an environment rehabilitation campaign was set out to clean up Philippines' Manila Bay beach.
-However, earlier this year....
- Because the previous sentence you mentioned how difficult it is to solve this problem use however. In speech you can say: But, earlier this year. However, in writing you don’t want to start a sentence with: and, but, or or.
*Locals can collect the trash and then trade it for croptcurrency provieded by some Banks.
-perfect
*This pilot project did make a great success.
- This pilot project was a great success.
- This pilot project continues to be successful.
*Over 2 months, Locals, mostly fishermen, collected three tonnes of trash from Manila Bay beach.
-over two months means more than two months.
- For two months locals and mostly fishermen collected three tonnes of trash from Manila Bay beach.
- In just/only two months, locals and mostly fishermen collected three tonnes of trash from Manila Bay beach.
- In english when you put two nouns side by side, it is the same noun.
-This drink, milk tea, is delicious. (sorry but I forgot the name of this grammar structure)
*And 2 months later, another project was underway.
- and 2 months later indicates after 4 months.(2 months of cleaning beach, then two more months passed, now we are starting month 5.
-And 2 months later, another project was underway. (your sentence is perfect)
- Two months after the success of the first project, another project began.
*Around 5,000 volunteers came to visit Manila and collected over 45 tonnes of garbage. Manila Bay beach is unrecognizably clean compared with 4 months ago.
-perfect
- I see you meant to say 4 months(great job!!), and you were correct. I will leave it just for practice.
If I made any mistakes or you still have any questions. Let me know 吧。

1)sb+be+ready 准备好
It can be used alone, or together with"已经"(very often)。
Are you ready? 你(已经)准备好了么?
I'm ready. 我(已经)准备好了。
I am ready for new challenges.我(已经)准备好迎接新的挑战了。 .
I am ready to answer your next questions.
我(已经)准备好要回答你下一个的问题了。
3)(已经)准备好+要做某事 (very often)
慧玲(已经)准备好要唱一首歌了。
他(已经)准备好要求婚了。
sometimes its okay to add a 要 before a verb, but sometimes it is a little awkward. I think it's because of 习惯.
我已经准备好要迎接新的挑战。O
我已经准备好迎接新的挑战了。O
他已经准备好要求婚了。O
他已经准备好求婚了。X
我已经准备好回答你下一个问题了。O
我已经准备好要回答你下一个问题了。O
4)本来准备 was ready for sth, (but) This indicates there's a transition.
公司本来准备这季度推出一个新产品,但是现在遇到了资金问题。
他本来准备今晚求婚,但是没想到老板叫他加班。
怎么办啊?我钱包丢了。我本来准备今天给老妈买个生日礼物的。这下好了(I don't know how to translate this sentence. It has a "好",but means “不好”),现在一分钱都没有,什么也买不了!
5)sth+be+ready 某事已经准备好了
求婚用的鲜花(已经)准备好了。
房间(已经)准备好了。
I think 准备好 is usually used with "已经"。
I need to read your explanations again to see if I have any questions. Thanks again for your explanations~
我已经准备好回答你下一个问题了,尽管问吧。:)

@Liaohuiling
本来准备- it’s the exact same in english: originally...something... but/but then
-I originally wanted to get married, but then I got fat.
-I originally wanted work at Baidu, but instead I decided to become a Tibetan monk. (and learn kung fu of course)
*这下好了
I don’t know in chinese maybe it is 冷语 or 冷话, but in english it is called sarcasm.
In english, sarcasm is saying something that is the opposite.(of what is true.)
这下好了- Sometimes when something bad happens, people will say, “Great!” or “Just great.” But they really mean, not great.
Some people are sarcastic. (people who always make sarcastic remarks.)
Maybe you are watching a soccer(US says soccer) (football- the rest of the world says football )..
Example: You are watching your soccer/football match, and your friend says, “Your team is so amazing!” But your favorite team is losing the match, and maybe they are not playing well; that makes your friend a sarcastic person.
See you later.

反语,反话,反讽,讽刺,etc are similar to sarcasm. 反话 informal;反语,反讽 formal;讽刺 in speech or writing.
I have some friends that sometimes might become very sarcastic. And I think they're very funny, haha.
