I’m travelling to Warszawa pretty soon and i’d like to know, what can i say and what can’t i say/shouldn’t say? What kind of thing is rude and offensive to say in Poland? And how should i act?

Don't be too loud and pushy. Learn a few words in Polish like hello, thank you

I don't think that there are any words you shouldn't say. But we appreciate when foreigners try to speak polish or if they can speak polish. as @bargeld said try to learn some words

You should remember that Polish say "thank you" very often when British or American people usually care about saying "please". Poles says "thank you" when someone gives them something, when someone yields to them, when someone gives them advice. Actually, we say "thank you" when someone does anything for us. And Polish people don't like when someone says that Poland is in Eastern Europe. Most of Polish like when our part of Europe is called Middle Europe. Also, many Polish people think that everything that is Polish is the best. Oh, and some people think that they're the most intelligent and they have their own opinion even if they don't know what are you talking about. But not everyone from Poland is like this, there are many nice people too. And don't talk about Polish politics. Polish public opinion is very divided, so it's better to don't talk about politics, because Poles often argue when they have different opinion than yo.
