Hi guys, can you please help me correct this text? Thank you

90. In general, how well are children taught in schools? * Teaching methods * Subjects and skills * Importance of discipline.

Generally speaking, I would say that children are taught well at schools for a myriad of reasons. First and foremost, I would like to mention teaching methods. It goes without saying that teachers are trained to make use of different methodologies in order to facilitate the learningship. In addition, not only do teachers need to have great knowledge in the subject they are teaching, but also it is absolutely important that they develop confidence when they are teaching, in order to convey the knowledge properly. Let alone the use of technological breakthroughs which are imprescendible in all professions.
Another point worth mentioning is subjects and skills. Students are taught the traditional subjects such as history, maths, biology, just to mention but a few. By the same token, subjects such as physical education and arts are also taken into consideration. The other side of the coin is that subjects that are imperative when it comes to the world of work, on many occasions are not taught. Not to mention topics such as nutrition and emotional intelligence. Were children to receive this kind of information at schools, they will be more competitive when they look for a position. In regard to nutrition, should children acknowledge the importance of leading a healthy diet since an early age, the risk of them suffering from diseases such as diabetes or overweight will be diminished.
As far as discipline is concerned, I would say that regrettaly students are not taught about this anymore. The reason I deem so is because teachers are more condencendet and allow students to hand in their homework after the deadline. This happens because many institutions yearn that all the students pass, no matter if that implies to be more leniant.
All in all, I would say that there is no denying the fact that children are well taught. Notwithstanding, there is room for improvement.
