有關 英語 (美國) 的問題
Suppose Mary has an irresponsible and drug-addicted husband who sometimes beats her,too. Finally Mary is so fed up with his doings that decides to leave him forever. But a friend asks her to give another chance to her husband! Mary says" do you think that my life is so unworthy to me that I devote it to him?",
Actually in Farsi, we say " do you think that I have found my life on the way/ in the steet/ on the ground that I waste it for him?"
Is there such an idiom that conveys the same meaning in English?
Ps: (if you found some thing on the ground is is more likely that you lose or waste it more easily! )

"...that I would* waste it..."
You aren't actually wasting it, so you need "would".

"Do you think that my life is so trivial that I waste it for such an inadequate person?"
"Do you think that my life is so trivial that I waste it for such an inadequate person?"

I can't think of an idiom that describes that, but you could say "I deserve better (than him)".

You aren't actually wasting it, so you need "would".
