It is grammatically correct to say “I felt so bad for not going to your wedding” because the destination and time of event is far away. You are also not talking in present tense so you must use “going” instead of “coming” because you are not actually at the wedding.
When saying “come” it often implies you are at the place you are talking about.
Go vs Come
Ex. I go to the store everyday. (You’re not going to the store right now. You are talking generally)
Ex. They are going to the store. (They will go to the store in the future)
Ex. I come to the store everyday. (Here you should be in or near the store if you said this.
Ex. He comes to school late. (Again, you would be at school)
