Do the Japanese have that whole 'kiss it better' thing? In the West when a kid falls over or hurts themselves, the kids asks mom to 'kiss it better'. Do you have that in Japan? Or eastern cultures in general?

We have 「いたいのいたいの飛んでけ~」(itaino itaino tondeke~) which means "pain, pain, go/fly away". We do not kiss the injured part. Instead, we first say "pain, pain" and put one hand on the injured part. Then we move the hand away to make it like we are throwing it away when we say "go away"
