有關 英語 (美國) 的問題

open and opened 和 could some please tell me the difference between open and opened? I remember wooden plate which says “ yes, we’re open” on the door of some kinds of restaurants. and I also remember there was a phrase like “opened mind” in the Beatles song. 的差別在哪裡？如果不好說明，請提供一些例句。

to open is a verb for exemple
i open the door
he opens the door
that's the present tense
when I say
I opened the day
that action in the past
now we move "opened mind"
here opened = adjectif / qualificate a person
for exemple verbe to interest adj= interested (base form + ed ) we use for the person

But one thing, what does “I opened the day “ mean? Is it like, I started the day?
