How did aircraft and headings come into this. A person can turn literally or figuratively and perform any action they wish, including a verbal or physical attack.

@leopard7 Previous comments brought up aircraft and the headings or navigation points they use. I can't understand it's relevence to your question. Your question is in regard to a political attack on another politician and the usage of the phrase "to turn" How an aircraft turns has little or no bearing on that.
edit. @lepoard7 Oops I thought someone else brought up irrelevant information. I see now it was you asking the aircraft question and posting it in the wrong question. I just saw your other questions about aircraft headings.
