God forbid I have respect for other people's stuff 是什麼意思

Person A: Why are you cleaning now? Just leave it for tomorrow.

Person B: Because I want to clean up now.
God forbid I have respect for other people's stuff, right?


I guess the Person B is being sarcastic, but does he literally mean he doesn't want to respect for other people's stuff??

Yes, Person B is being sarcastic. He actually does have respect because he wants to keep it clean.
