有點不自然
When you are writing a paper, it is a good idea to use precise examples to illustrate your position.
There is nothing wrong in using "your point" but the word point is more informal. Generally a paper is a detailed, highly structured document so using the word "position" indicates taking a certain specified stance. Also the word position implies a broader range of ideas whereas the word point tends to imply a singular idea.
