what's this use of the "get" in a situations such as 1, "hey I don't think I can paint all the part of this huge dinosaur statue by evening" "don't worry I'll get the tail" 2,(to his girlfriend who is spreading sun cream on his body.) "honey, can you get my leg too?"

I get their meaning but, to be elaborated, what's this "get"?

@Sharehearts In this case, "get" means to complete/reach "the tail" or the "leg" with regards to whatever action they are doing.
"Don't worry, I'll get the tail" --> Don't worry, I'll also paint the tail.
"Honey, can you get my leg too?" --> Honey, can you spread suncream on my leg too?

@jermywormy than you! I've actually posted this question few times and in the other thread a responder told me that it should be "get to my leg?" to be more natural as opposed to "get my leg too?" is it right? it sounds to me if you use "get to" in this sentence, it is as if he is asking her to slid over to his leg. and he also advised me that it be "get the tail done" to be more natural. what do you say?

i think either way is equally fine for both sentences in my opinion! actually i think "get to my leg" sounds more awkward.
