"She threw a sharp, side­ways glance at Dum­ble­dore here"
Why "here" is not the same meaning without it?
and I always read prepositions at the end of the sentences and i don't understant the reason because they have the same meaning without them 是什麼意思

My best guess is that it means "at this exact moment"
I'd have to see more context to be sure.

"Here" emphasizes "at this very moment". She looked to Dumbledore right after she finished speaking, without any delay.

The sentence reads:

She threw a sharp, sideways glance at Dumbledore here, as though hoping he was going to tell her something, but he didn't, so she went on.

I agree with @jimpjorps but would add that the sentence doesn't end with a preposition. The following phrase is part of the sentence-it is separated by a comma (,), not a period (.).
