If I were to come back alive, I would like you to let me drink a cup of green tea in your tea-ceremony room. もし生きて帰ってきたら、おまえの茶室で茶飲ませてくれるか? 聼起來自然嗎?

This is a word by a guy from 特別攻撃隊"Special Attack Unit" to his friend before he left for the attack. They were the unit for suicide attacks by military aviators from the Empire of Japan against Allied naval vessels in the closing stages of the Pacific campaign of World War II

- 英語 (美國)
有點不自然
This usually means that the speaker is pretty sure they will not make it back, but there is small chance they could. To imply that one will definitely not come back, you could say something like, "If I could come back" or "If I were able to come back".

Your sentence is correct, but it sounds a lot more formal than the Japanese sentence.
"If I make it back alive, I'd like to have a cup of (green) tea in your tearoom."

Thank you all for the votes!
To xhirachu, Thank you for the suggestion.
The speker knew that he would never be able to come back because he would leave for suicidal attacks. Does "If I make it back alive" have the connotation that he knew he would never come back alive?
