"I am 20 years old and a sophomore at the university in Vietnam." In this, you don't need to say "I am" two times. For example, "I am 18 years old and a student at a high school" has the same meaning as " I am 18 years old and I am a student at a high school". I hope this helps.

Some details such as the fact that you’re going to university in Vietnam could be left out to make it sound more natural. Most native speakers tend to leave out a lot of details and simply wait until they’re asked about that specific detail to reveal it.
