有點不自然
It's not incorrect but there are better ways to say it :) I would say: Since there are so many phone scams going around these days, people don't want their names to appear in phonebooks anymore.

有點不自然
I think you can say "the phonebook", but "the" makes it very specific and makes it sound like there is ONE specific phonebook out there, so I thought it would be better to say "phonebooks" since there is more than one copy. If you had already spoken about a phonebook and then said this sentence, "the" is better because the subject is clear.
Originally I wrote "the phonebook" and then changed it ^^; it's just a small different so don't worry about it too much ;) The meaning is still about the same.
