I was asked to state my opinion on a news which is related to the security camera and I'm wondering if the comment below was natural.
"I think using security camera footage to identify the criminals are effective.
According to this news, it said 12994 out of 22318 crimes were involved footage from security or dashboard cameras.
Even though there is a possibility that innocent people are wrongly arrested,if its false charge rate is not so high, then there is no reason to stop using security cameras."

有點不自然
your words sound good but your pronunciation could use a bit of word (especially with consonants - stress d c and t sounds more)
otherwise it sounds great!

"I think using security camera footage to identify the criminals is effective." is better. Footage is singular so you use "is".
