"Should" means that you know it would be good for you to do something, but you don't have to.
"I should go to the store" means it would be a good decision to go to the store, but I can wait a little longer before I absolutely need to.
"I should do my homework now, but I'll wait until later."
"Might as well" is a pretty neutral term.
"Should I go to the store?"
"Might as well."
This means it doesn't really matter if you do or don't go to the store, but you have nothing to lose by going.
"Should I buy this computer instead? It's a little more expensive, but it's better qaulity."
"You might as well, if it will last longer."
