My team talked about the reason why we chose Korean to study. For me, my major at home university is Korean Language so coming here is a good opportunity to improve my Korean skills and learn more about Korean culture. Victor’s reason is quite same to me that Korea was a good country for his major – computer science. Biloliddin whose nickname is Bill said that his reason is different to me and Victor’s. Although Bill had wanted to apply for a university in U.S., he couldn’t obtain a U.S visa because of his Uzbeks nationality. That’s why he decided to apply for a university in Asia, especially in Korea which is one of four Asian Tigers. For the first time, he really hated Korea because he didn’t know any Koreans and he couldn’t eat any Korean food.
We also talked about how expensive Korean food was, and Victor did a comparison that he could eat a meal in Paris for less than 18.000 won but he couldn’t in Korea, so Bill said he would come to Paris. But when I told that they could buy a very delicious bread with 1 dollar or a bowl of Pho (rice noodles) with only 2 dollars in Vietnam, he said he would like to travel to Vietnam before traveling to France.

Victor’s reason is quite SIMILAR TO MINE, IN that Korea was a good/RELEVANT country for his major – computer science.

Biloliddin - whose nickname is Bill - HAD A DIFFERENT REASON TO ME AND VICTOR. BILL had wanted to apply TO a university in THE U.S., BUT he couldn’t GET a U.S visa because of his Uzbek nationality. That’s why he decided to apply for ASIAN UNIVERSITIES, PARTICULARLY KOREAN ONES, because... (I don't know what 'Asian tigers' means, sorry). AT FIRST, he really hated Korea because he didn’t know ANYONE and he DIDN'T LIKE Korean food.

We also talked about how expensive Korean food was, and Victor NOTED that he could GET a meal in Paris for less than 18,000 won, but he couldn't in Korea, so Bill said that he WANTED TO GO THERE. But when I told THEM that IN VIETNAM, a DELICIOUS LOAF OF BREAD costs only 1 dollar, or a bowl of Pho (rice noodles) ONLY 2 DOLLARS, he said that he would like to travel to Vietnam before GOING to France.
