‘These days’ refers to a longer period of time than ‘at the moment’ which means right now.
Sometimes ‘these days’ can be used to denote the present period.
Example:
These days technology has been advancing quite rapidly.
The first means a couple of days that have already passed or are passing by while the second means ‘right now’.
Example:
These days I have been quite busy. (Meaning the person was busy for the past few days)
I am busy at the moment. Let me call you back later. (Meaning the person was busy at the time of the call)
These days I’ve been going to the park a lot. (They’ve been going to the park for the past few days)
I’m at the park at the moment. (You don’t really know what the person has been doing previously but now they are at the park)
I hope this helps.
