The other day,I was able to restart running again after getting over a cold.

Then How do you say with glad?

Just "I was so glad "or"That made me glad"?

@ukeruu if you say it just as you wrote it "The other day, I was able to restart running after getting over a cold. That made me glad"... the its the latter option.
however,
you could say " I'm so glad I was able to restart running after getting over a cold (the other day(optional))"
