First of all, you would say “continue to be there” OR “still be there. Not both. They both imply that something is staying there, so putting both is “redundant”, meaning it was already said and saying it again in the same sentence sounds incorrect.
Also, I would say “maybe that should stay there.” Because it’s shorter and sounds more natural.
