So I just wanna know the knowledge of how to using “the“.
- 英語 (美國)
"the bird" helps signify a specific bird, while "bird" is just a general bird.
"A Red-tailed hawk was THE BIRD I was looking for" means that the hawk was the only one I wanted to find.
"A Red-tailed hawk was A BIRD I was looking for" means that the hawk was one of a number of birds I wanted to find.
I hope this helps!

Does that mean “A bag is good” is a little bit weird cuz it doesn’t explain which bag it refers. “The bag is good” is better ?

"The" is called a "definite article"
What does that mean?
Well, it means the speaker (the one saying the sentence) is talking about a specific thing.
Example:
Let's say I am staying in a hotel. The hotel's name is Hilton on Baker's Street.
Johnny: Where are you going?
Me: Oh I'm going to my hotel.
Johnny: Which hotel are you staying at?
Me: I'm staying at Hilton on Baker's street.
********the next day********
... At the end of our meeting/get together....
Me: OK then Johnny! I'm going to the hotel.
You: OK see you!
You already know which hotel I'm going to - Hilton on Baker's street.
********another day********
Me: Nice talking to you Johnny! I'm going to the hotel.
Johnny: See ya!
********another day********
Me: ...I'm going to the hotel.
You: Take care!
********another day********
Me: ...I'm going to the hotel.
You: OK bye!
....then one day I say....
Me: ...I'm going to a hotel.
You: Oh 😳! You left Hilton on Baker's Street?
Me: Yeah, it's too far from the center of town. I'm looking for a hotel in downtown now.
-----------------------------------------------
So how did Johnny know that I am not at Hilton in Baker's Street anymore?
Because I used the "indefinite article"..."a".
"The hotel" means a specific hotel that both of us (speaker and listener) know. In this case, Hilton on Baker's Street.
"A hotel" means any hotel. Not a specific one.
Another example....
"I want a car".
"I want the car".
I want a car means I want a car in general. I am not talking about a specific car.
I want the car means I want a particular (specific) car...That blue GTR parked in front of the 7/11 next to the Toyota Camry.
A (or an) also means 1.
So when we say a/an, it's only 1.
Example...
"I have a sister" = "I have 1 sister".
I have sister
I am going to hotel
I want car
...are all incorrect.
We need to use either the definite (a/an), or indefinite (the) articles.
We don't use the indefinite article with non-count nouns.
Example...
I want rice.
Or
I want the rice.
I want a rice is wrong because rice is non-count (uncountable)

@li_ao "A bag is good" = "1 bag is good." so from that sentence I understand maybe you want only 1 bag. Example:
In a shop:
Shopkeeper: How much rice do you want?
You: A bag is good.
Shopkeeper: Here you go. One bag of rice.
You: Thank you!
Example with "the"...
In a shop with your friend....
Your friend: What do you like here?
You: Nothing!
Your friend: 😮! Nothing at all?
You: Well the bag is good. (talking about a specific bag that you both saw earlier).
