有關 阿拉伯語 的問題
I want to start learning Egyptian Arabic, can someone scroll through my spreadsheet and make sure it's proper Egyptian Arabic, please?
NOTE #1: If you make any corrections, please leave an Asterisk in the A column to the far Left!
NOTE #2: If you make any corrections, please correct the Romanization as well in the right column, don't worry about the second romanization column, I can just copy the first one to the second one when it's finished.
NOTE #3: I have added Filters, if you scroll over to the right to the "Language" Column and click on the little green upside down triangle, hit "clear" and then "Ok", and then scroll down and select Arabic! The Sheet will then display only the Arabic for you; it will make it easier for you to edit that way!
When you're finished, please go back to "Language" and hit "Select all" and then hit okay!
NOTE #4: There are only about 5 duplicates, please don't delete them! I will handle the duplicates later.
NOTE #5: Please include the gender of each noun in the Gender Column!

@Marihan96 Yes, Japanese is on there. Please don't delete the Japanese! Just work on the Arabic, please

@Dinarro: well I see all pronunciation / romanized words are correct but the ones written in Arabic have some typos like ل instead of ال other than that all is correct

@Marihan96 If you could correct as much of the Arabic in the "word" section as possible, that would be awesome! Initially I added the Arabic with the Definite Article, but I decided to remove it because it doesn't do what I thought it would. I thought that since there is Gender, that the definite article would help me figure out what gender a noun was, like in german and spanish, but it doesn't work that way! hahah My aunt told me that nouns ending in "ن" are feminine and usually all other nouns without that are masculine....So, if you could remove the article from as many nouns as you can, that would be awesome!

@A7medShawky That would be great! I haven't started learning grammar yet, I just started listening to the pimsleur courses! But I want to study my vocabulary list as I listen to the Pimsleur Egyptian Arabic. So please, it would be awesome if you could correct as many Arabic words as you can in my spreadsheet! ^^

@Dinarro Well, you should know that Egyptian Arabic isn't grammatically correct, it's more like... an accent(with many dialects). Most Egyptians can't even speak Arabic in proper grammar; they've sort of created their own language.
However, I must admit that the Egyptian accent is the most loved among the Arabs, not just because Egyptians are well-known for having a good sense of humour, but also because it sounds quite badass.
I've been living in Egypt since I was 8 (I'm 16 now), so I know what I'm talking about.

@BloodWork Yes, I have to say I like the Egyptian accent and way of pronouncing things better. I like the way it sounds.
Anyway. It was quite difficult to find an Egyptian Arabic Dictionary to help me correct my Arabic, it was so hard to find an app that would allow me to copy Egyptian Arabic words so I could paste them to my sheet!! Luckily ArabicPod101.com has an a series of vocabulary apps, and they teach Egyptian Arabic, I trust the Pod101 language series, their translations are sure to be correct!
Anyway. It was quite difficult to find an Egyptian Arabic Dictionary to help me correct my Arabic, it was so hard to find an app that would allow me to copy Egyptian Arabic words so I could paste them to my sheet!! Luckily ArabicPod101.com has an a series of vocabulary apps, and they teach Egyptian Arabic, I trust the Pod101 language series, their translations are sure to be correct!

@Dinarro Hmm... It might be the best accent out there, but I recommend you not to use it in writing, especially in formal writings; because it has almost no rules, which could sometimes be very confusing. But again, it's okay to 'speak' in Egyptian Arabic.
